a note on magnets

While designing the tie+ I spent a long time debating over the use of magnets. I examined many other accessory products on the market that use magnets and how they approached the topic of safety, and I concluded that the use of magnets would be both safe and make for the best product possible.

That being said, every tie+ still ships with the following disclaimer for all users, especially those:

• with pacemakers or implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)
• with children that may be aspiring engineers/really good at taking things apart and trying to eat them
